SUPPLIED WITH one of the following probes, 1/4 inch 5.00MHz standard probe, and is suitable for most materials, such as the thickness of steel, stainless steel and glass. Also measures aluminium and certain types of thin plastics. Better results can be obtained by using the 1.00MHz probe for the thicker thicknesses of cast iron and extruded plastics such as polypropylene, polystyrene, polyethylene and PVC. Using the 7.50MHz probe, the unit better measures the thicker thicknesses of high tensile steel and aluminium. Pick your choice. Other probes are available.
